Who We Are

In a sea of information about plants, hydroponics, and gardening, Hydroponicks has set out to help others understand how to grow food all year round easily.

When we looked around for available hydroponic systems, we struggled to find one reasonably priced that allowed people to experiment with such a great form of gardening.

As a team, Nick and Cody wanted to help anyone and everyone to listen and learn about hydroponics. That’s why Hydroponicks' focus is to teach others about how fantastic hydroponics can be and learn all we can along the way.

We hope to give away all our information so that our community can benefit from this efficient, money-saving, and entertaining way to grow herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

Even if you don’t buy anything from us, we hope you learn and build your hydroponic system to enjoy it as much as we have.

Nick Minarich

Hello! I currently work as a Research and Development Engineer on agricultural systems. I work on equipment that accurately measures nutrients within the soil, helping plants grow efficiently and reducing the overapplication of fertilizers that contribute to runoff.

I bring this expertise to Hydroponick’s so that I can teach others the benefits, limitations, and overall satisfaction of watching something you care for thrive.

Cody Ekle

Hey all! I’m Cody, one of the two founders of Hydroponicks. My two loves in life are people and food! I’m an enthusiastic person who just wants to help everyone succeed in life at what they want. Hydroponicks is one of those ventures.

I’ve always been interested in business, and my brother-in-law Nick has always been interested in gardening and, of course, Hydroponics. With this in mind, Nick and I found ourselves talking daily about how amazing hydroponics are and how they enable anyone to grow their own delicious, fresh food.

I was hooked, so I started growing arugula with Nick’s guidance and found myself loving every minute of it.

By day I’m an IT professional in Customer Success, but by night, I was Cody, the DWC gardener, for months. Before hydroponics took me, I enjoyed video games, rock climbing, and eating with my wonderful wife.

I’m glad to have met you, and I hope you have a splendid day (or night).
